Check Out Our New Blog

Since UrbanFaith.com launched a year ago, it has been our desire to add a blog to the site that could feature daily, real-time posts about the news, people, and God sightings that everyone's talking about. Finally, The Daily Digest is in effect!

We'll continue to offer great commentary, interviews, and feature articles in the main areas of UrbanFaith.com, but if you're looking to keep up with the current events and trends that we're thinking about at any given moment, or if you simply want to get something off your chest about the latest controversy in the news (e.g., the Balloon Boy hoax), then The Daily Digest is the place for you. We'll share interesting links and stories, and the occasional editorial comment about them. But most of all, we're looking forward to hearing from you. In fact, we invite you to share your ideas for new blog posts and UrbanFaith.com articles, too. So, please, log on and sound off.

Some of the current Daily Digest posts include thoughts about the Louisiana justice of the peace who refused to grant a marriage license to an interracial couple and a strange post about superstar quarterback Tom Brady's eternal destiny.

It's a big world, with lots of crazy, funny, tragic, and occasionally hopeful stories happening in it. With the amount of information being thrown at you every day, we know you have a lot of voices clamoring for your attention. We don't want to add to the noise, but we would like to be a friendly voice along the way. As we all watch and partake in the world's daily madness, it's good to remember that God is in control. Both at UrbanFaith.com and in our new blog we'll do our best to remind you of that every day.

Now, let's get this blog rolling!
