According to early reports from the International Red Cross, up to 3 million people may have been affected by Tuesday's catastrophic earthquake in Haiti, and tens of thousands are feared dead.

"Make good use of your phone & FB status for Haiti today by doing the following: Donate to the Red Cross via SMS by texting "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10. Or, you can text "YELE" to 501501 to donate $5 to the Yele Foundation, founded by Wyclef Jean. (Post this as your status to spread the word so others may know how simple it is to donate to the cause.)"
